John Taylor

John Taylor is a retired financial analyst and former head of field research at Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb. He also did work for Frist Capital, Two Creeks Capital and Ziff Brothers Investments. Prior to working in the investment industry, he was an investigative reporter and senior editor for The Wall Street Journal’s magazine, SmartMoney; west coast bureau chief for Forbes Magazine and a senior editor and reporter for the St. Petersburg Times and its Florida-based business magazine Florida Trend. He graduated from Villanova University and has a masters degree in journalism from Temple University.
