Instead, think of this information as a general guide based on the experiences of others.

Use it to help navigate through difficult times -- like holidays and birthdays -- and to help keep track of necessary logistical details that might seem insignificant in relation to your loss.

Grieving is not about forgetting.

It's about finding a way to live the life that your loved ones would want for you -- a full life that continues to be influenced and shaped by the ones you hold dear, even after their deaths.
