Artist's Statement

As I recover and fight against three bouts of cancer, I have been using art therapy as a way to express my emotions, pain, and feelings I can’t otherwise process. The following prints and canvas originals are a reflection of emotions in which everyone can relate.

My art often tends to fall in the realms of chaos, current issue perspectives, and nonsensical humor. I use many mediums (acrylic, water, and oil paints, graphite, ink, glue etc.) to free-hand each original piece. My hope is that you’ll see beyond the chaos, and connect with an image in your own personal way.

Everyone falls Down in life. That doesn’t mean you have to continue in that direction. The trick is to find something to help you visualize the change in your direction. These creations are meant to not only inspire you when you’re FALLING, but to encourage you to acknowledge your emotions, in order to use them to reach back UP.
