Early lung cancer often does not cause symptoms

Symptoms that may indicate the presence of lung cancer include:

  • Persistent cough
     
  • Wheezing
     
  • Chest discomfort
     
  • Shortness of breath
     
  • Blood in lung mucus
     
  • Hoarse voice
     
  • Pneumonia
     
  • Pain when swallowing
     
  • Tiredness that lasts
     
  • High pitched sound when breathing
