Fundraising Events

Involvement in the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center fundraising events makes a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

By giving of your time, action, or resources, you can impact all areas of our mission: improving the patient experience, advancing research, and enriching educational opportunities for learners at all stages.

How to get involved:

Support an event

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Subaru of Ann Arbor and Toyota of Ann Arbor are partnering with the University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center to GEAR UP FOR HOPE.

Join us in showing support for those impacted by breast cancer by donating today. Subaru of Ann Arbor and Toyota of Ann Arbor will generously match all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000 during the month of October.

Plan a Fundraiser

Big or small, fundraising events are a fantastic way to raise money for a cause that inspires you. Consider planning a large-scale event such as a gala, golf outing, or a 5K run, or organize a smaller fundraiser like a bake sale, penny war, or garage sale. Your efforts can inspire and mobilize your community behind individuals at all stages of their cancer journeys -- and advance research toward cures.

Visit the Michigan Medicine Office of Development website to download an event toolkit [pdf], post your event to our calendar, and access other resources.

Join Online Campaigns

Social media campaigns help raise awareness for important causes and bring together supporters from around the globe. Follow the Rogel Cancer Center on Facebook and Twitter to learn about our latest campaigns and show your support.

You can also create your own fundraising web page to participate in Rogel Cancer Center campaigns or generate support for programs that are meaningful to you. Encourage friends, family, co-workers and others to join you to make the biggest impact possible.

Volunteer

Volunteers provide care and comfort, and help us put patients and families first. The Rogel Cancer Center offers a variety of opportunities to get involved, including greeting visitors, walking patients to their appointments, and sharing comfort materials with families in waiting areas. Get more information about volunteering at the Rogel Cancer Center.

Tell Us About Your Goal

You are an important member of our team, and we care about what is meaningful to you. What do you hope to accomplish? What is your vision? Whether advancing research or supporting patients and families in the ways they need it most, we look forward to working with you to achieve a shared mission.

Let’s see what we can do together!
