  • Lyssiotis awarded Stephenson Global Scholar Grant for pancreatic cancer research

    Costas Lyssiotis, Ph.D., co-director of the Rogel and Blondy Center for Pancreatic Cancer at the Rogel Cancer Center, was one of six researchers to receive inaugural grants from the Stephenson Global Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute and its partner, City of Hope. The grants, totaling $5.25 million, support high-impact research aimed at transforming the understanding, early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

  • Rogel Cancer Center names Lynn Henry as associate director for community outreach and engagement

    The University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center has named breast oncologist N. Lynn Henry, M.D., Ph.D., as associate director for community outreach and engagement. As associate director, Henry will partner with Rogel faculty and staff to develop research and interventions to address the cancer burden within the state.
