Christina Hunter Chapman MD

Radiation Oncology


Dr. Chapman's overarching career focus is to ensure that technologically advanced medical care is available to all populations. Her research focuses on enhancing the application of medical technologies for radiotherapy delivery, but also on ensuring that these advancements are available to minority and underserved populations. Dr. Chapman's clinical work focuses primarily on lung and head and neck cancer. Her health equity research spans the continuum of cancer care and utilizes advanced statistical approaches, including simulation modeling, as well as traditional qualitative and quantitative methods. She also investigates strategies to enhance the diversity of the physician workforce, given that maximal scientific process cannot be made without the inclusion of all segments of the population.
