Rogel ranked No. 1 in Michigan, among best cancer centers in nation by U.S. News & World Report

ANN ARBOR, Michigan – The University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center is once again the highest rated center for cancer care in Michigan, according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings.
Rogel ranked No. 34 in the nation, and is the only hospital ranked for cancer care in Michigan.
Overall, U-M Health was recognized as a top organization among the over 4,500 hospitals evaluated and as No. 1 in Michigan, tied with one other hospital.
U.S. News ranked nine U-M Health specialties as top in the state, and three more in the top 10 nationwide.
In addition, U.S. News & World Report evaluates performance regarding a number of specific procedures and conditions. They awarded U-M Health the top rating of “high performing” in the following cancer areas:
- Colon cancer surgery
- Gynecological cancer
- Leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma
- Lung cancer surgery
- Prostate cancer surgery
