MRelay is an annual fundraising event on the University of Michigan campus to support the American Cancer Society and its commitment to lifesaving research, treatment and care of cancer patients. This is one of over 2,500 Relay for Life events around the country that benefit the ACS.

At MRelay, teams are encouraged to walk in support of cancer survivors and caregivers to honor their strength and courage. Teams are encouraged to seek donations to support cancer research and resources for patients and families. Each year, about 1,500 participants raise more than $320,000 for the American Cancer Society.

This year’s event is Saturday, April 6, at the Central Campus Recreation Building, 401 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48109.

The American Cancer Society is currently funding 15 research grants totaling $8 million to Rogel Cancer Center research initiatives and provides services to hundreds of our patients. This is our chance to give back to an organization that has supported our center for more than 70 years and provided over $70 million in research funding!

The Rogel Cancer Center is this year’s MRelay Presenting Sponsor. Last year, the Rogel Cancer Center donated over $17,000. This year, we have committed $5,000 and hope to raise over $20,000 toward the event’s overall goal of $360,000. But we cannot do that without you. Please consider, joining our and help fundraise with your friends and family. Or, and get others to join the cause!=>

Maybe you’re busy Saturday, April 6, and won’t be able to participate. We still have a few ways for you to support your colleagues and the American Cancer Society. You could donate and encourage others to do the same! It would also be incredibly helpful to spread the word! Let your circle of friends and family know about this event and how it helps fund research, treatment and care for thousands of patients each year. Learn more and sign up here!
