Cutaneous Surgery at Brighton Center for Specialty Care
The Cutaneous Surgery clinic at Michigan Medicine’s Brighton Center for Specialty Care provides treatment for patients with a biopsy-confirmed melanoma/skin cancer. Our dermatology surgeons are board-certified dermatologists, who have completed advanced surgical training and provide remarkable expertise in skin cancer treatment.
All new patients receive a complete evaluation and exam, and are staged, counseled and educated about melanoma/skin cancer. Each surgery is different and depends on individual factors, including the size, depth, and location of the cancer, as well as the overall health of the patient. Working closely with the patient, family and their referring doctors, we work to coordinate treatment and follow-up care close to home when possible and to minimize trips to our clinic.
Patients benefit from a multidisciplinary focus offered by our team of highly trained and experienced experts, who work together to determine the best course of treatment and management for each patient.
