The University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center was recognized as the No. 1 cancer program in Michigan and No. 32 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital rankings for 2025-2026. Rogel was the only cancer program in the state to be ranked.

Costas Lyssiotis, Ph.D., co-director of the Rogel and Blondy Center for Pancreatic Cancer at the Rogel Cancer Center, was one of six researchers to receive inaugural grants from the Stephenson Global Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute and its partner, City of Hope. The grants, totaling $5.25 million, support high-impact research aimed at transforming the understanding, early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

The University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center has named breast oncologist N. Lynn Henry, M.D., Ph.D., as associate director for community outreach and engagement.
